Since 1998, I’ve helped my clients break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. Let me help you learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of your goals. Get in touch today to see what I can do for you.

Areas of expertise: self harm; eating disorders; anxiety, mental health and wellbeing; depression; bereavement; self esteem; coaching; relationship issues.

In 2002 I started working at King Alfred School in Hampstead, as a Counsellor. I am now the Head of Counselling for the school for children and teenagers from ages 4-18 where I have developed a counselling service that helps all students navigate many of the issues facing them in their lives. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team I am involved in developing the Wellbeing and Pastoral plan for the school.
In addition I have been the Designated Safeguarding Lead since 2014 and am now also a fully qualified clinical supervisor for other Counsellors and pastoral staff.
Face to face or Zoom sessions available. My private practice is in East Finchley, London.

HOW I WORK
Depending on individual needs, short-term therapy of 6-12 weeks may be most suitable, otherwise longer-term therapy with regular reviews may be agreed. It is important to be aware that it can take several months for counselling to make a long-term difference and in a lot of cases a longer commitment may be most beneficial.
STEP 1
Referral is made via website and there is an email information sharing exchange between Tracy and parent/client to assess suitability and availability for step 2
STEP 2
Initial meeting with client/parents or guardians. This can be face-to-face or via Zoom. During this time we can chat through family history, context to the current challenges, discuss any concerns and questions and cover consent and confidentiality agreements. This is then followed by an initial meeting and assessment with the child (usually at the same time). This consultation session lasts 50 minutes. .
STEP 3
If all parties are in agreement weekly, individual 1-1 sessions with the child/client begin. These sessions are payable in advance of the first session, usually in blocks of 6.
Carl Rogers
When the other person is hurting, confused, troubled, anxious, alienated, terrified; or when he or she is doubtful of self-worth, uncertain as to identity—then understanding is called for. The gentle and sensitive companionship offered by an empathic person… provides illumination and healing. In such situations deep understanding is, I believe, the most precious gift one can give to another.
